Post Mortem
How we would take the project further
Firstly, we would focus on improving the game's mechanics and balancing. We would perform more play-testing to allow us to identify any areas where the game is too easy or too difficult, as well as any bugs or glitches that need fixing. We would also add new gameplay features, such as different enemy types, power-ups, or traps, to keep the game fresh and interesting.
Secondly, we would work on enhancing the game's visuals and audio. This could involve creating more detailed textures and models for the game's environment and characters, as well as adding sound effects and music to enhance the game's atmosphere.
Finally, we would explore ways to make the game more accessible to players. This involves adding more tutorial content to help players understand the game's mechanics, and implementing different difficulty levels to cater to players of different skill levels.
What went well
As for what went well, we were able to successfully create a functioning game engine and use it to create a playable game. We were able to create an engaging gameplay experience that we believe will keep players coming back for more.
What we would change if given another month on the project
With another month on the project, we would work on adding more depth and complexity to the game's mechanics, to make the game even more engaging for players. We would also focus on improving the game's performance and optimizing its code, to ensure that the game runs smoothly on a variety of different systems.
